Lost & Found:
Lavannya's MP3 Player
"My first MP3 player was a gift from my grandfather. Space Grey, shiny, rectangular in shape with a screen and a large circular button with top and bottom buttons controlling the volume, the pause/play button in the middle and the fast forward and rewind buttons on either side. The on/off button on the right side."
Reflection
The description I received is quite explanatory without much detail or elaboration, which corresponds to the simpleness and crudeness of the technology we used when we were kids. Therefore, I chose a very “boring” color palette and simple composition to match the tedious design of the MP3 that Lavannya lost. One thing I realized that I should’ve planned ahead but didn’t was the layer order of each shape, and therefore it took me a while to sort it out along the way. Besides that, I learned to use the LOOP function to create slanted rectangle after my first draft and replaced my previous lousy attempt with this tool.
